Moose (1-4-2015)

Just after saying I’d never seen a moose in Montana, BOOM!  Moose on the side of the road on the way to the Nordic center!  He was snoozing away.  He was there for a few hours after we first saw him.

I texted a friend that lives nearby and she said she and her husband had seen him about a week prior, right in their backyard.  I assume it’s the same guy, but who knows.

I certainly hope I don’t surprise him out on the cross country trails!  “Hello Mr. Moose.  Don’t mind me.  I’ll just be turning around and going back now.  I am not tasty.  I did not have bacon for breakfast…or nuts and berries or whatever it is you fancy…”
